Eco Club of Arya Vidyapeeth College organised an awareness drive by students among the residence of neighbouring areas of the College to make people aware of the importance of celebrating Diwali in eco friendly way. Arya Vidyapeeth Student’s Union took special initiative in this programme. In total more than seventy student volunteers took part in the process. Street plays were enacted in 8 points in the neighbouring area and more than 500 families were reached by this drive. The drive was started from the College Gate at 2:30pm in presence of the Principal of the College Dr Pradip Kumar Bhattacharyya and Vice Principal Dr Mrinal Sarmah along with number of other faculty members of the College.
