The International webinar on “Education, Technology and Mindset for Success” was organized by Central Library, Arya Vidyapeeth College in collaboration with Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University, Assam, India on 17th January 2021 at 10.30 am. The programme started with the brief introduction about the college by Dr. Jyotirupa Sarma, Member, Organising Committee of the Webinar. Prof. Kandarpa Das, Vice-Chancellor, Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University inaugurated the webinar. Dr. Pradip Kumar Bhattacharyya, Principal of Arya Vidyapeeth college welcomes all the participants and resource person. Keynote Address was given by Dr. Dibyajyoti Mahanta, Dean, Study Centre Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University. A total number of 515 participants have joined for the webinar. Among them few international participants also participated.
The webinar was held on Google meet platform along with live streaming on YouTube for larger benefit. The programme started as per schedule. The Resource Person of the webinar Dr. Bhaskar Choudhury, Sr. Scientist-Intel Corporation USA, Founder and CEO-Paper Boat Academy, President – Cratoo Inc., focused on Educational Technology and explained that Modern electronic educational technology is an important part of society today which encompasses e-learning, information and communication technology (ICT) in education, multimedia learning, technology-enhanced learning (TEL), m-learning, ubiquitous learning and digital education. He also explained in today’s world, having a success mindset is important. He gave some real-world examples of people with a success mindset are those with difficult upbringings who have gone on to make amazing things out of themselves. We’ve seen leaders who’ve managed to fight unbelievable circumstances and secure success. The practical demo on modern technology and interactive approach adopted for the Programme and various case studies was highly appreciated by the participants.
The talk was followed by a lively interactive session where the students and the teachers actively participated. The talk came to an end with a vote of thanks by Dr. Dalimi Devi, Coordinator, International Webinar.
