A workshop on “Preparation for competitive exams and career counseling” was jointly organized by the Career Counseling Cell and the Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Cell, Arya Vidyapeeth College, Guwahati in association with ‘Educative-Educating Skills’ on the 17th and 18th of November 2021. 48 students participated in the workshop.
The resource persons of the workshop were from ‘Educative-Educating Skills’. The three resource persons were Mr Harsh Khemka, Alumni IIM, Ahmedabad, Ms Anuradha Deb and Mr Gaurav Khemka, Alumni, XLRI, Jamshedpur.
Mr Harsh Khemka was a domain expert, trainer by profession, an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) having rich experience in training more than 25000+ candidates. He had conducted extensive training for university professors, college professors, corporate etc. He is invited for sessions from various institutions like IIT Guwahati, OP Jindhal University, Delhi, Cochin University, Rajagiri Institute of Management, Kerela, Munjal University Gurugram, Assam Engineering College, Jorhat Institute of Science and Technology etc. The topics covered in the two days workshop were Personal interview & Career Guidance, Speed Maths, Grooming and Etiquettes and Mental Reasoning. The workshop was well attended and very well received by the students.
