Eco Club, Arya Vidyapeeth College a part of Green Corps Mission of MoEFCC did a plantation drive in Boy’s Hostel Campus of the College on World Environment Day. The event was inaugurated by the Principal of the College Dr Pradip Kumar Bhattacharyya and in the meeting he declared that in line with theme of World Environment Day this year, a year long Campaign will be run by the eco club with title “Change Habits for Only One Earth”. In this connection a campaign on awareness of personal Carbon footprint of students have already started from 4th June 2022. Eco club volunteers from Boy’s Hostel participated in the event along with members of AVCSU and many teachers. The convenor of the Club Dr Papori Devi has also informed that today’s plantation will add to the already running program of the Club for afforestation of road side area of the College Campus.
