Maa Kamakhya or Kameswari is renowned Goddess of Desire whose famous shrine is located in the heart of Nilachal Hill situated in the western part of Guwahati, Kamakhya Devalaya is considered sacred and oldest of the 51 shakti peethas on earth.

PABITORA WILD LIFE SANCTUARY (47 KM)

Pabitora is located in the southern bank of the Brahmaputra in Morigaon district in Assam. It is providing grassland and wetland habitat for the Indian one-horned Rhinoceros. It holds one of the largest Rhinoceros population in Assam.
