The 1st of January 2024 was an iconic and historic day for Arya Vidyapeeth College (A). In an auspicious moment marking the first day of the new year, the Principal of the College Dr. Pradip Kumar Bhattacharyya on the behalf of the institute signed an MoU with UMA Global headed by the founder and CEO Dr. Rita Kakati Shah for the benefit of students’ participation at the international level. This was an event of the INTERNATIONALISATION WING of the college headed by the Co-ordinator Dr. Chhandashree Bhuyan along with members Suli Yohana Ayemi and Deboshree Bhattacharjee.

The college has already completed a 5 week course for the first co-hort last September-October.To strengthen the ties between the college and UMA Global, a threadbare discussion on the future programs was conducted. Hopefully being the pioneer in this pilot project, the college will develop some substantial programs in association with this global organisation. It is worth mentioning that Rita Kakati-Shah is an award-winning, gender, diversity, inclusion and career strategist, speaker, mentor and advisor to Fortune 500 companies.
