The Department of Chemistry, Arya Vidyapeeth College organized a National Seminar on Science, Technology and Innovation under DBT Star College scheme on 29th February 2020. The seminar was inaugurated by Prof. Anup K. Talukdar and addressed by Dr. Pradip K. Bhattacharyya, Principal, Arya Vidyapeeth College and by Dr. Ganesh Choudhury, HoD, Department of Chemistry, Arya Vidyapeeth college. The inaugural programe was anchored by Dr. Sangeeta Kakati.

In the Scientific session, Invited lectures were delivered by Prof. Amrendra K. Sarma, Prof. Anup K Talukdar, Prof Anil Saikia, Prof. Robin K. Dutta, Dr. Manjit K. Bhattacharyya, Dr. Prosanta J. Gautam.
In the seminar about 30 participants from various prestigious institute of north east have presented their research work.
