The 3rd Debananda Saikia Memorial lecture was held on 24th March, 2021 organised by Debananda Saikia Memorial Committee, Department of Mathematics, A. V. College.The speaker of the programme was Dr. Hemanta Kr. Sarmah, Professor,Department of Mathematics, Gauhati University. He delivered the lecture on the topic “Math Phobia, Its Causes and Some Remedial Measures”. In the programme Nishikesh Upadhyaya received the award for B.Sc Topper in Mathematics and Bhargav Madhukalya received the award for M.Sc Topper in Mathematics from Arya Vidyapeeth College.
