A three-day “capacity building workshop on designing question paper” was organized by the Office of the Controller of Examinations, Arya Vidyapeeth College (Autonomous) in collaboration with Internal Quality Assessment Cell (IQAC) of the College. The workshop was held at the College premises from 15th to 17th June, 2023 with technical support from Azim Premji University, Bengaluru. The inaugural session was held on 15th June, 2023, where Dr Rahul S Mazumdar, Dean (Academics), Arya Vidyapeeth College (Autonomous) delivered the welcome address. Dr Partha S Mishra from Azim Premji University spoke about objectives of the workshop. The resource persons from Azim Premji University who conducted the sessions were- Partha Sarathi Mishra, Ronita Sharma, Shantha Bhushan, Jubimol J., Ajabul Biswas, Iman Sharma, Manoj Kumar Khadka, L. Tirang Rangsanamei. Around Seventy participants from the college participated in the workshop. The resource persons gave a detailed training on scientific techniques of question paper setting for under graduate courses in light of NEP-2020. There were three parallel sessions everyday for four different group of teachers belonging to Science, Mathematical Science, Social Sciences and Humanities.

The valedictory session held on 17th June, 2023 was addressed by Dr Pradip K Bhattacharyya, Principal of Arya Vidyapeeth College (Autonomus). One to two participants from each group spoke very highly about the technical sessions and the resource persons. All the participants thanked the organizer for arranging such a nice workshop for them. Dr. Ronita Sharma and L. Tirang Rangsanamei of Azim Premji University expressed satisfaction for active participation and assured of extending their support in future also. The vote of thanks was offered by Ms. Jinti Rani Boro of Geography department of the College.
