The science club of Arya Vidyapeeth College celebrated the “National Science Day” on  28/02/2022 to commemorate the scientific contribution of Sir C V Raman. The focal theme for this year  National Science day Was  ‘Integrated Approach in Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future.’

On 28/02/2021, at 10 A.M., a plantation program was organized in the campus of Arya Vidyapeeth college boys Hostel. The program was inaugurated by the Principal of the College Dr. Pradip Kumar Bhattacharyya and the same was followed by the club members. On the same day the vermicomposting project has been initiated in the Arya Vidyapeeth College Boy’s Hostel campus.

At 11 Am, a scientific lecture and interaction program was organized in the conference hall of the college in which Prof. Prabodh Bora from the veterinary Science College, Khanapara, Guwahati was the resource person with his valuable lecture.  After the lecture, an interaction session was also held to discuss different queries related to science and its application. Nearly 70 students took part in the program to make it’s a grand success.

The interaction program was followed by an Intra-College prize money Quiz Competition with first prize Rs. 2000/ and second prize Rs.1000/. The program was quite successful with the participation of 13 teams from different departments of the College.
