Report on Alumni Meet, Department of Education, 2022

The department of Education organized an Alumni meet on 26th March, 2022 in the conference hall of Arya Vidyapeeth College .Altogether 34 enthusiastic alumni reached from different parts of Assam to attend the meeting . Dr. Dulumoni Sarma ,co-ordinator of the event introduced the members present in the meeting .The meet started with the welcome address by Dr. Ranju Medhi,HOD of Education followed by the aims and objectives of the association. After welcome speech honourable principal sir Dr.Pradip Kr. Bhattacharyya delivered his valuable speech.

Alumni of different batches were discussed about the various problems of departments and suggested some remedies to solve the said problems. 1997 batch felicitated all teachers of Education department along with principal sir.The department of Education offered a memento to every members present in the meeting. An informal cultural programme was also organized by all the members of the alumni and enjoyed very much and it was very lively.During the meeting some alumni such as Dipankar Talukdar, Keshab Bora, Babul deka, Indrani, Malini, Ajanta, and others shared their memories and suggested for more improvements to the department and college.It was resolved to formally form an association for which an executive body was formed. The body comprises the following members:

Astt. Secretary — Keshab Bora
Treasurer – Babul deka
Members – Dr. Dipankar Talukdar,Surupa Saha, Sima Dey, Ajanta Das, Durga Malakar, Jessica Rava, etc

At the end of the meeting a light refreshment was offered to the alumni..Atlast the programme was ended with the vote of thanks by Dr.Anuradha Baroowa.
