An Interdisciplinary talk was organised by the deptt. Of Education , Arya Vidyapeeth college (Autonomous) held on 17th November 2022, on the topic “Peace and conflict resolusion- The only path to happiness and progress” and it was delivered by Dr. Sangeeta Kakoty, Associate professor and HOD of History, Arya Vidyapeeth College. The programme was started with a welcome address by Dr. Ranju Medhi, HOD and a brief introduction of the speaker is done by Dr.Anuradha Baroowa,teacher Incharge of the talk. The speaker was felicitated by a “Phulam Gamocha”by a semester vth student of the department.

The speaker was mainly focused on conflict,its types and resolution which lead to peace and progress. All the participants enjoyed very much the discussion of the resource person and student interaction was very lively. Atlast the programme was ended with the vote of thanks by departmental faculty Dr. Rupmala Barman.
