On 18/4/24, the AEDP (Apprenticeship Embedded Degree Program) cell of the College in collaboration with Digivarsity and in association with the Commerce Department held a short seminar on the topic ON THE JOB TRAINING. This program was targeted today especially for the 4th and 6th Semester students of the Commerce department. The students went through an activity regarding the choice of domain in their future career and then they were exposed to the various programs and schemes of Digivarsity under TeamLease Edtech. There were two professionals from TeamLease Edtech who were directly involved in this program. The whole concept is under the government of Assam scheme ‘Making Assam Employable’ where AMTRON is associated with TeamLease Edtech. These On-the-Job Training programs bridge the gap between theoretical study and practical application. They are tailored to give a head start in the career of a student. These seminars will be periodically held for other departments as well in a phase-wise manner.
The whole program was co-ordinated by Dr. Chhandashree Bhuyan, the Nodal officer of AEDP of the college with team member Dr. Dipak Mazumdar. The HoD of the Commerce department Dr. Kallol Kumar Bhattacharjee and faculty members of the Department were present throughout the program.
