A faculty and students exchange programme was conducted by the Department of Statistics, Arya Vidyapeeth college (A) and the Department of Statistics, Handique Girls’ College (HGC) on 23/04/24. This event was organised under the MoU signed between the two institutions. All the 6th semester Honours students, accompanied by Dr Menaka Sikdar, Assistant professor of the Department of Statistics of AVC (A), visited the Department of Statistics, HGC. Dr. Sikdar took a few interactive sessions with the students of HGC, whereas, Dr. Anupam Deka, HoD of the Department of Statistics, HGC, Dr. Soma Dhar and Ms Namrata Pareek, Assistant professors of HGC interacted with the students of AVC. The programme was fruitful and informative for the students of both the departments of the colleges.

Organizers of both the institutions thanked the Principals of the respective colleges for their support and cooperation.
