As a part of Diamond Jubilee celebration, women’s cell of Arya Vidyapeeth College organised a All Guwahati Inter College poster making competition on Gender Discrimination on 8 the of March, 2018, in the College premises, on International Women’s Day. The cell also inaugurated a wall magazine on that very day. Renowned artist Manoj Roy of State Art Gallery was the judge of the competition and wall magazine was being inaugurated by Dr. R. Rajbong, retired teacher of the college. Cooperation of Principal, Dr. P. K. Bhattacharjya, teachers and a large number of students made the day a successful one.
