A webinar on Career Counselling Programme: ‘Chartered Accountancy : as a career option’ with Arya Vidyapeeth College had been organised by Eastern India Regional Council, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India in association with the Entrepreneurship & Skill Development Cell, Arya Vidyapeeth College, Guwahati on the 13th of July, 2021.
Dr Mousumi Borah, Convener, Entrepreneurship & Skill Development Cell, Arya Vidyapeeth College, Guwahati delivered the welcome address. Chartered Accountant Sunil Kr Sahoo, Chairman, Eastern India Regional Council, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India delivered a special address. Dr Anindita Deka, member, Entrepreneurship & Skill Development Cell, Arya Vidyapeeth College, Guwahati proposed the vote of thanks.
The resource persons of the webinar were Chartered Accountant Hari Ram Agarwal, Treasurer, Eastern India Regional Council, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Ms Susmita Sen, Student Career Counsellor, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. The webinar was very informative and was well attended by more than 140 participants.

The resource persons discussed the merits of the Chartered Accountancy course elaborately, along with its unique features and the process of enrolment into the course. They detailed the subjects taught and the examination pattern of the course. They spoke about different career opportunities and job placements available to the students, post completion of the course.
